Depends on if they offer a discount to start with. I'm not sure about military, but M cars historically did not get an ED discount. The M3 does. I considered buying one through ED very seriously before I ended up with the Z4 MC. I just fell in love with the car after driving it.

Apparently, they opened it up to all the M models, because of the demand by Service Member. All I can do is cross my fingers!!

I'm waiting to test drive before I put my money down, both DCT and 6MT.

I love my Z4MC way to much to go into it blind. I loved my 135i, and I think an M version of that car would probably be my "dream" DD car, but I'm not going to dive into headlong.
