Also the member was running a 93/e85 blend. So if we go by mathmatics the 335i would make 374.5 whp if it was RWD. Now factor in E85. You can run more boost and a more aggressive tune. After that we should be right around those numbers....My money is def on Aaron BTW.
Missed that it was awd - and forgot about the dyno sheet in the vid (been awhile since I watched it). I knew e85 was good stuff, but another 40hp to the wheels? Whatever, doesn't matter. Good numbers either way.

Do you have a pull of your car fbo but without e85? Curious to know what it does on straight 93 octane.

yup, baseline is in the video boys. note that when we did the baseline run the dci was obv on and tank also had 50/50 mix of e85 and 93. So don't look at that chart in the video and expect to see 100% avg stock baseline dyno figures.

I will post my sheet up when i get tuned. Ill be tuned with dci and a rogue axelback....No e85 for this guy. An E85 station isnt close enough to me.

A dyno means nothing to me really. Its a TOOL used to meausre GAINS and not absolute power. Trap speed and ET is honestly the only way to compare car to car.

I'm not sure what you think you're going to prove at some other dyno aside from the fact that the DynaPak reads high.

Yeah, within the next month or so. Although winter is coming quick. Once I log some times i'll post them.

Basheezy, the octane is the best part. I'm on a 50/50 mix - 93/E85. Half the tank is full of cheap flex fuel, gota love it. MA is littered with Ethanol stations. Tuned for about 16psi.
Shit that's awesome... I want to do that. What kind of tune is it, a shop's own tweaking or a specific company like Burger?

You cant judge by racing either. No two drivers are the same. The best way to compare cars is by using the same exact dyno and pullin through the same rpm's. Racing wont resolve this as well as using the same exact dyno.

Cool, maybe I'd head down and check it out first....tuning a car is new to me. I'm only running cobb 1+ sport and wanted to see what Bren could do with that map. I live up in Beverly.

If you are really making over 400rwhp, you should have no problem whatsoever TRAPPING over 115mph at the end of the 1/4 mile.
this.

or

roll race a jb4 iso map 5 135i with the same fuel %, an intake, and same transmission and a similar weight driver - and post the results. Just do a few 3rd gear pulls - no driver error.

but until you do.....

Shenanigans.

I know my truth...and jb4 is junk. They cause insane fuel knock in high rpm. And sorry but I dont street race. Almost lost my license twice. Your a moron if you think racing is the best way to prove power. And i trapped 112 in the v10 m5...your telling me its not 400whp...thats right traction is an issue. Again to many variables to compare that way

So you've finally provided proof, but with responses like this no one will ever take you seriously. You respond like a teenage boy trying to prove something. I'm sure you're probably not, but coming off like a pompous jackass know it all because I've done thousands of dyno's usually get's no where. If you would have came out and presented your fact's in your original post then maybe we could have a civil conversation about tuning such.

Totally agree. What most people fail to realize is just that, that dyno's are nothing more than tools to compare mods done to your car. Comparing it car to car and dyno to dyno is hard to be biased or accurate because each dyno reads different and can be manipulated.

MIAblu1: it's BrenTuning's custom E85 (Cobb) tune. I (and everyone i know that's been to him with a N54 for an E85 tune) left very happy.

No just a 25 year old a hole. And WATCH the original video posted..It clearly shows his base map compared to the staged tune. The evidence was already there..you were just being a pompous jackass that couldnt trust the evidence given. Just saying.

Anyways peeps, Bren is an excellent tuner and id recommend everyone to him

I don't think anyone is telling you to race anyone. Just go to your local dragstrip on a test and tune night and do a couple of runs and see how you do. Everytime I went there, I was there to see how consistent my tune was and had no problem whatsoever reproducing the same trap speeds over and over again. Traction is not going to effect the trap speeds THAT MUCH, but it will definitely hinder your ET. 1/4 mile trap speeds does a good job of telling how much power its really putting down.

j/k, but seriously - you are simply wrong if you believe a dyno > a race/timeslip, etc to prove a car's performance. i think that's what the point is....if Bren's tune is the real deal, which I am sure it is better than a canned tune (common sense tells me that), a car length or two against the competition is the way to set the bar, not a dyno.

I have given you proper evidence to prove we are not lying or making up numbers. Where is your evidence for me being uneducated? Personal attack me sir..but when I go to bed I know schooled you today. Man thats a good feeling.
