Ok...so this is the third time my radio

Stopped working all together. Today, i was on my way to the mall, sitting in heavy traffic bumpin to some Korn on my ipod(everything on max volume by the way) and then poof, no sound out of anything. I can select the radio and go through the radio stations but i hear nothing. a few minutes later i start hearing sounds again and everything is back to normal...

The last time this happened, i parked the car and when i came back to it, it was fine once again.

i have 14k miles on my car and its just about 1 year old. What the hell is going on and what should i do about it

Is it possible that the amp is overheating and shutting down as a protective measure?

Got a call earlier today. They said there's a service bulletin out about the problem, but no fix for it yet. Of course this is all info I already knew (from the other thread). I guess we're all gunna have to deal with this for now.

i just reprogrammed my car for the same problem today, the software is available or at least at my dealer it is

Maybe something less than Max Volume would help?
