Winter Tire Options (NYC area)
What do you think have the best traction in a 16" BMW wheel package:
(from a 128i Convertible Base Model) I am going to put these on a 128i coupe base model I live 12 miles north of NYC but at the bottom of a pretty steep 0.7 mile hill. Also, how bad is the handling on a Studless Ice and Snow vs. a Performance Winter Tire. I don't drive that aggressively but I want very confident ice and snow traction and I never want to get stuck/ Blizzak WS-60 Blizzak LM-25 Blizzak LM-22 RFT (Can I use these?) Dunlop SP Winter Sport 3D Dunlop Winter Sport M3 ROF (is this just as good as the 3D?) Dunlop Graspic DS-2 Michelin X-Ice Xi2 (NEW) |

You certainly can use the runflat snows but I still think the WS-60 is what you will like best.
