We do this on a nationwide basis. If anyone is interested, pm me and I will provide details. If you are sober, licensed and insured, nationwide representation is part of the service. If you are not, or if you have a current ticket, representation is at a 25% discount.

Hawaii is weird and they do not make it mandatory for the officer to show up unless you request it and you have to pay fees to serve the notice. You can actually plead not guilty and state why. The judge will review your thought and make a decision. I just wanted to know if it was legal to hide 40 feet on the onramp, behind an overpass and legally be able to pull over drivers for speeding. They might as well start pulling people over using helicopters and send the ticket by mail. They actually did away with the van and hidden camera because too many people were being pulled over for speeding. I have no problem accepting blame as long as the Officer did his job correctly and not ticketed me because they uphold the law. Lawyer would not be worth the money and I may go to court ahead of time to see what the process is like here.

Visit NJ and drive on I-78. Posted along the highway are signs "Speed Monitored By Aircraft".

I've never seen it used in Jersey, but in PA those bastards use it all the time...

i dunno why everyone getting so pissed at asiann. she was going 72 in a 55, prob on the freeway. now, who doesnt go 80 on the fwy? i doubt she was being reckless otherwise the cop would of given her a ticket for that as well. i dont go 80 when thers a lot of traffic but when the road is clear, its almost dangerous to go any slower.

this was on the news a few weeks ago. the 3rd story of San francisco's city hall teaches you how to beat tickets. The ironic part is that the 2nd story is where the officers work on the tickets they've issued. There's a DVD that you can buy that shows you every trick of the trade. The DVD is supposedly 2 hours long. Kinda sucks that you dont even live close to here. hehehe

Thanks Biggie, but I'm a dude! I just posed a question like everyelse does looking for a response that I might not have thought of. Hawaii is one of the few states that did not adopt the higher speed limits from 55 to 65. Granted the island is only so big but this stretch of interstate goes from one side of the island to almost the other. I was just cruising and didn't realize how fast I was going and got zapped from above. I never heard of 3 options. 1. Admit and pay 2. Deny 3. Admit but explain mitigating circumstances Each option has 2 other options so very different than I have seen before. I have seen the airplanes from above signs on the East coast before, not a problem. Thanks for all the help.

go read my post, where/when did I assume you're a 16 yr old kid?

I was referring to e46fanatics site.
It seemed you need to go to "reading comprehension" class

and Kal, relax. if you read asiann's first post he wasnt bitching or whinning about anything. he just asked for some options. if you dont believe in that, then fine, but theres no need to bash because you have different ideas. some people might want to take a proactive approach to their ticket and some juts pay for it. where asiann was pulled over could of been a illegal speed trap, you never know. some cops are honest and some just seem to need to meet their quota. either way whats wrong with asking? thats the point of these forums.

BTW you might not have assumed asiann was 16-17 but you sure as hell implied it.

he admitted he was wrong, what's the problem then ?
you speed, you pay the ticket

why not be a man and take responsibility ?
people want to blame other for their own fault , i.e speed trap non-sense, police quota ?

Any Attorneys out there? Thanks for any advice!

the problem is he was asking for some options not someone to tell him to stop whining. fine, you get a ticket then you pay for it. others will fight it, whats wrong with that? do you really believe cops dont make mistakes or misjudge sometimes?

Quote:

why are you getting personal, kal? he's being more of man by challanging (if he proceeds) for his rights. the next time you get a ticket you can just take it bending over, but you gotta understand its not always a clear cut case.

BTW ive won a speed trap case, the limit went 65 to 45 in a very short distance with no clear signs (newly developing area). that area had a unusualy high-number of tickets and they eneded up fixing the faulty signs. but im sure you would of just poined up the cash, right? and ive been pulled over (when i used to drive a honda) for absolutely no reason. pulled to see if had any "work done to my car." my cars been stock since day 1 and it still is. cops sometimes have a bad day or get bored. cops are people to, they do make impatial judgements and mistakes.
