BMW 128i Recall

I had a missed call from my local dealer last week. Saw the number come up on my phone again yesterday. I picked up thinking it was to discuss the recall. WRONG. It was a sales pitch for extended maintenance

My question is if this is just the news being wrong. 2010-2012 is the N55.

I thought this was N55 only, but updated sources say the '11 128i is included.

Was there even any VANOS differences between '08-09 vs '10-12? ..Different bolt?

Didn't the head design change in the '10 model year?

I've been wondering if i'm affected by this. If i recall correctly i have a 10/9 build date.
