this and the matte black were very difficult to find, even new from multiple dealers and VMR themselves said they are not producing any time soon, only in hypersilver. You would have to get hypersilver and then powedercoat it, which ranges from $300-400 extra. I got sick of waiting and got some v710 in matte black for a good deal, but best of luck to you if you get some.

Exactly what I ran into, just thought I would ask.

Even the vb3 were my second choice but same issue. There is someone selling cs7 here you could check that out. That's where the 701 was based off of anyways. They are silver but you can always go plasti dip.
