why the temp is so high>>?

when i hit my 135i (stock) hard the temp goes up to 250 f... i think it will hurt the engine in long time....or is it ok normal thing....but it's stock low boost!!

if i want to keep the temp at 230..i should drive it like a pussy....

ok now...im thinking if my car's tuned to jb3 or any tune at high boost...what the temp would be ??......about 260 or 270

plz i want to tune it what to do ?..the temp is the main problem

An intercooler drops your intake air temperature, not your oil temperature. An additional oil cooler will drop it by maybe 5-10 degrees, so if that is worth it to you then by all means go for it.

My car has a Helix intercooler, raceland downpipes and JB4 set to either map 2 or 7 depending on my gas mixtures and I have never seen my oil temps above 250, then again I don't track my car.

You don't have a problem. 250 is normal. If you don't track your car, you don't need to worry about oil temp at all.

Just wondering if you realize that the temp gauge on your dash shows oil temp not water temp?
