I think it's called...Yuk? Lol. No idea. But I do love it how the E46 M3 had some pretty cool colours. The one I love most is the baby blue colour. Awesome that one. Reminds me of some 60's Porsche colour.

Thanks guys, after a bit more investigation I've found out it is indeed a BMW Individual colour, called Brass Metallic, or Messing Metallic in Germany.

Cheers.

Isn't the 135i quicker than the E46 M3 or am I misinformed, again?

Damn, I'm too late here, but yeh it's brass metallic and 'individual colour' choice

I looked at this colour very closely when 'almost' having purchased an E46 M3 vert back in 2003, but it didn't really grow on me then or since...

Off topic question, but I think it is - although you'll get many conflicting stories from around and on this forum from people who've had both or run em up against each other going either one way or the other...

I think however that it's fairly safe to assume that a 135i with just a tune (one of the many re-map/piggy backs etc.) will beat an E46.

Definately Brass and it cost, wait for it, $4500.....

I looked at it when I bought a 3coupe a few years ago, my god it was pricey. Funny, they ended up bringing the Special Edition model out with Individual Paint and Individual Nappa two tone leather for $3k, luckily I was buying at the right time (I got Stratus Grey). I felt sorry for anyone who order just the paint.

Individual by name and crazy by price.

Pretty sure that car was owned by one of the Chef's whose high fallootin' restaurant was in Farraday St Carlton, but now in city. Name escapes me..... Both restaurant AND bloke.

That colour is Sepang Bronze Metallic, it's an Individual Colour only available for the m3.

Sorry BMW you are incorrect.

http://www.dtmpower.net/forum/austra...-metallic.html

It was an Individual colour available to all (at least the 3 series range).
