Build week known- when can VIN be found out

This is what my nice salesman did. As you can see my build week is 34/8/2008 I can only assume that it should be completed sometime this week. I got given the VIN the day I ordered the car which is back in June 08. This is the 2nd BMW I ordered and tracked my X3 via the shipping site. Just cant remember how long before it starts appearing on the site. I do remember this that it appeared before it shipped.
