BUMP for a good seller!!---Hey Kirkbar, I might be interested in these..stupid question maybe,but what about the ashtray door/cover? My trim is the walnut/wood grain/whatever, & I'd love to replace!

Thanks for the bump! My car did not come with the ashtray package so there is no door. It can be bought as a kit. Part number 51168037469

I had the CF on my previous 135i and it was totaled. I managed to get the dash and door trim off the wreck and made my own ashtray and shifter trim. I'm now carbon skinning my DCT shift knob. It's a labor of love but I refuse to spend so much on trim.

BTW: Nothing BMW makes is solid CF. they just "skin" plastic trim with CF cloth. It's very high quality though!

If you guys want a carbon fiber alternative, I can talk to Mike from carbon underground and see if he is still wrapping trims, he did two of my cars and it has held up for over two years, i know he was the goto guy for that kinda thing, he probably will hook you up for around $150 if I was to guess, dont quote me on that. Pm me if you are interested.
