Door handle LED's ?

I absolutely love the blue/white LED's under the door handles. Great touch by BMW.

Would it be possible to have them On whenever the driving lights are On.

Can they be programmed?

There's probably some stupid nanny law which says you can't display any lighting on a vehicle other than indicators, running lights etc.

Just my 2c.
