My mechanic said I need to replace the rear shock absorber. I dont track, just daily drive, any suggestion?
I found two different brands which are Monroe and Bilstein, which one is better?

I believe the sport suspension is standard on the 135i.

You should purchase the B4 OE replacements. The damping will be slightly more firm than your current shock absorbers. The OE shocks on your car are Sachs twin tubes and the Bilstein B4's are monotubes. I would suggest that you replace both rear dampers. It is generally good practice to replace things like this in pairs. If you have any other questions feel free to PM me.

Comparing Bilstein to Monroe is like comparing BMW to Hyundai.

Checkout Bilstein or Koni, can't go wrong with either.
