Why the need for a warning? What about common sense?

Reminds me of the warning on a sun shade I recently bought "Do not drive vehicle with the sun shade installed in the windshield".

Uh, duh!

The fact that there is a warning simply indicates that probably somewhere along the line some moron did exactly that and threatened to sue the company.

I bet there aren't many vehicles where doing this results in broken windshield instead of, say, a scratched hood or bent wiper arm(s) at worst.

Because it's a design flaw. I've never had a vehicle that you could damage just by doing that. Look how many people have done this already. But I'm sure you are soooo smart, you would know every little in and out of this car. I wanna be like you when I grow up.

This Sucks

It appears that the same tragedy has happened to my 2 week old 128.
Thank goodness for insurance, all i had to pay is a $50 deductible.
