It's not difficult just time consuming.

We also routed vacuum lines a bit different from what Akrapovic suggests as we want it to be more protected.

Becuase in this video the sound seems louder (and maybe too loud for me and Italian police).

Thanks
This is a full system with ALL parts that Akrapovic offers for 1M.

Thanks. And what diameter are the downpipes? 2,5" or 3"?

Hey M1, save the cash and don't put the wireless kit in, IMO you will end up turning it on all the time so why bother hahahahaha

We really like our system, it is friggin outrageous!

Can any of the users comment on the exhaust volume below 3.5k rpm? Is the volume reasonable with the wireless kit open? How about the exhaust volume w/ wireless open at highway speeds around 3k rpm? How about cold start-up? I'm trying to figure if the wireless kit is really necessary at all since I'd probably have it open 99% of the time anyways..

Sorry I don't have any pictures ...

We are putting on another Full Akra with wireless kit on another 1M and I'll try to take some pics ...

I actually think having a wireless kit option is very useful as the sound changes quite a bit between open and closed valve position. Running it open all the time can be a bit loud for a DD/street car and having an option to close the valve is great.

Also, if 1M is being tracked and the track has a sound dB check, most likely you won't pass it if you are running it wide open ...

Having a wireless kit can solve that problem right away

How does the DME handles the on/off mode with the ESS?

Is there any loss in power when the valves are closed?

Thanks for your reply, if that is realistIc then the car will be unusable on just about every track in Europe, Nurburgring included.

I've been on Redbull ring (Zeltweg, A) without any problems. The car was among the loudest... but with valves closed, it could be silent enough to follow noise restriction. But there was no need for that.

This is the issue that we addressed earlier that having a wireless kit will benefit customers who has to stay within sound limit at certain tracks.

Question to any 1M owners with Akra evolution installed. How is the daily drive? I mean to much sound all the time is actually tiresome. Would love to hear how the sound is with wireless kit when not fully open vs the original 1M exhaust?

"closed" valves are similar to stock exhaust, a little deeper, but not unpleasant. I use my car also as DD and I never have an issue that this car is too loud. So from noise perspective it is almost like stock, which I like.

Like Guleb said, it sound very stock like but with a bit more rumbling and more aggressive note.
