Possible NSW/Qld Meet?

Hi Guys

Just toying the idea of a joint meet. Would there be anyone interested?

Possible place would be Coffs Harbour and then we head west to Armindale/Tamworth, and then back home.

It will probably have to be over a weekend, and take a bit of organising, but it would be fun.

Victorians of course are most welcome, but it would be a very long drive for you.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'm definitely interested. Suggest making it a Friday-Sunday thing so people can take a days leave on the Friday if necessary. Then we'd have a full day together to explore the brilliant roads around Coffs. Waterfall Way is a fantastic drive. So is Oxley Highway, and Gwydir Highway isn't bad either.

Well, I guess we need to start talking now if it is going to happen this year. As it probably needs to involve an overnight stay somewhere, everyone needs to get organised and get committed so things can be booked, baby sitters need to be found, and travel sickness pills ready for the other halfs.

As a NSWelshman and former league player trapped in unfriendly territory I'm keen for a meet with the guys & girls from the Premier State! I'm usually unreliable at turning up to these things but I'll try to get along. Haven't travelled the Oxley for ~15 years but have fond memories of doing it on my CBR900 enroute from Townsville to Eastern Ck. Awesome!

How about 23-25 October for a NSW/QLD gathering at Coffs Harbour? We'll have a day to drive to Coffs in convoy, two nights stay at a suitable venue (motel? small resort?), two evenings for socializing, a full day to tour the excellent roads around Coffs, and the last day to convoy home. Who's in?
