Is it possible to track the car if it is already on a ship?

Would the dealer know when it is supposed to arrive?
Anyone have any idea how long it should take to NYC?

It should be in the FAQ somewhere

Get the name of the ship and track it

Actually, you would be concentrating on the ship. There are a few resources to track the ship. Have a read here: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=828

You can also read this thread for more ideas: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...light=don+juan

In general, your CA will have the best info (pulled up from DCS screen) including bill of lading number and ship etc. They might have en ETA but that info can be easily obtained from the shipping line's website.

Try this...

go here http://schedule.2wglobal.com/AppTrac...trackType=Auto and type in the VIN number. You can get the VIN number from Owner's Choice ( http://oc.bmwusa.com ).

Also you can play with www.aislive.com to track where the ship is when it is near port.
