Anyone doing track/auto-x this weekend (4/5-4/6)?

Does anyone have plans to put thier 1'er on the track or auto-x it this weekend? Let's hear your opinions of the results if you do.

My first 2-day auto-x is next weekend, 4/12-4/13. Running in D-Stock with Street Tires (my region has this as a valid class). It's one way to use up the OE RFTs.

I have two events planned for May. Should give me enough time to get the damn car broken in. I still only have 400 on it now. I was also thinking I would just burn off the RFTs, but then I saw they are $310 each to replace if I every wanted to!!! I may be getting something else now that will be even better on the track and keep the RFTs for daily driving.

April 27 for me... This season is going to be nuts.. 4 weeks before the event, and we had 110 people signed up, with a deep wait list.

I wanna see some 1ers at the Boston Chapter events, other than me, this year!! Next event (May 25th) sign-ups open on 4/21!

I'm too old and lazy to swap to race only wheel/tire setups any longer. When the RFTs are gone think I'll try non-RFT Dunlop Sport Direzza Z1 Star Specs (damn long product name!).

Wow! How many runs do you get with that large a turnout, Larry? Last weekend (when my car wasn't driven due to low miles) we had about 57 drivers and everyone got 8 runs, which is unusual even for our small region.

We give our drivers 8 runs @ about 80-90 seconds each.

Christo and I run a very tight ship, and the rest of the event staff are fantastic. We bought all wireless gear for last season, and setup/breakdown are done in 20 minutes. We have paypal prepayment, online registration, and I do worker assignments two nights before, and email them all out to people then. We are running around 9-9:15am, after doing walkthroughs, driver's meeting, techs...

I had my 135 on VIR's North Course April 5-6. I didn't push it too hard because of low miles, but it was very impressive. It's faster and handles better than the 350Z I had before! :-D
