I had forgotten, but now that you mention it, I do remember.

And yes, one does have to cred that hand... Sometimes I forget to do that, but the 1er is definitely a good reminder!

Lili is rockin' a Montego 128i in Commerce, which is really close to Walled Lake, but I haven't heard of any other LeMans 135s around, yet.

I'm game for April 19th! It's funny, I was thinking about throwing a thread about interest in a meet and then a trip to kart-to-kart!

Sidenote: I think I'm going to pick up my helmet at Averill Racing sometime soon. Does anybody else have another place/suggestion to pick up a helmet?

I just went to see Keith Averill at Averill racing. Super nice guy. I ended up getting a Bell Helmet there. I don't know what model (b/c I dumped all the packaging as I need to bring across the border. He did tell me this helmet is good enough for autocross events as well as karting. He was recommended to me by a fellow employee. I'm going to bring the helmet to the meet for kart-2-kart.

Sweet, man - definitely looking forward to seeing it. I really should be shopping hard for one right now since track season is quickly approaching; however, I got a killer deal on a set of Bowers & Wilkins speakers and couldn't pass them up... and of course, a new receiver and subwoofer was needed to go along with them!

Anyway, if you figure out what it is, hit me up with details.

Did anyone see the awesome pics from the meet that Rachel in the NE area hosted? Great pics - at her dad's house. Detailing sessions, beer. Looked like a blast. 1 M3 showed too.

Saw those... VERY nice - looked like a blast. Unfortunately, my garage can't compete with theirs (at least, size-wise), but I'm SURE we could beat the turn-out!
