Rear Shock Mounts?

Is there anyone that has the Dinan rear shock mount kit and is able to comment which parts go in the wheel well and which parts go inside the trunk part of the shock tower? The piece I'm wondering about in particular is called "Upper Bushing" or something - I have it in the wheel well and wonder if it should be moved. The only part I have in the trunk is a hard black metal or ceramic spacer (about 1/4" thick). I'm getting some noise back there...

Have you tried contacting Dinan?

I actually emailed Dinan and heard back from them not too long ago. Turns out I do have the bushings in the wrong spot like I thought.

Wish I had that flash of brilliance *before* I put everything back together...

So... what IS the correct way they should go on the car? Should they "snadwhich" the cars body where the shock mounts up too?

Yeah, exactly. The OEM bushings do this but I confused because I was following two different diagrams (one from Dinan and one from the Bilstein system I installed). So I was using Bilstein, Dinan, and OEM parts on the shock, and I just didn't think it through completely when I was putting everything back together. Also, I didn't tighten down the top nut after the suspension was loaded, so I think that will help with noise, too.

If you're interested I can provide the diagram from Dinan. For some reason I'm having trouble with attachments in post.
