Great! Is there a option to get the exhaust tips in black like the stock exhaust tips, if so I'm in. If not, I will wait until that option is available.

The catless downpipes will allow the turbos to spool up faster because of the reduction of backpressure. You will make more boost faster as a result as well. The midpipes are the longest units and have the most resonance. Will it be to loud with that setup, no I dont believe so at all.
Mr Soul - please have a muffler shop do it and send me pics. if it looks as nice finished, I will pay for it.

Sorry to interrupt guys.., Just to clarify.
Meisterschaft is not just muffler only. please review the following photos: section 1: deletes the secondary cats and replaces reonator with High performance resonator or Y-pipe (optional) Section 2: rear section bolts up the joint section: where the stock section 1 ends, so, it is designed to be fully compatible with stock OE application. why don't they just do straight pipes back all the way back, eliminating the secondary cats? anyway any mileage gain on these, some with the Riss system have seen 3mpg increases- probably due to eliminating the secondary cats

I love Meisterschaft They are sold seperately as the muffler and the center pipes.

I don't mean to switch topics, but you guys that are complaining about spending $600 on an axle back exhaust should maybe think about driving a different car. Vendors sell their products at a price that goes with the cars they are selling. Take Toyota for example....most parts for the Celica are a hell of a lot cheaper then what us BMW drivers will pay for after market parts. Just like an exhaust for an Aston Martin is a hell of a lot more, then an exhaust for an Audi.
Pricing is all relative to the market. If you guys don't want to pay $600, then don't, but there is no need to hate on this vendor's thread. And for those that say they can do the same thing at a local muffler shop, do it. I'm sure that the guys that are complaining have not gone and done a similar setup yet, if you have please post pics and a review. I have an idea for all the people not wanting to pay $600....Sell your BMW and buy a Scion. With the extra money left over you can trick out your Scion to the fullest. We drive BMW's and parts will priced accordingly. Just my $.02 |
