my135 it is stainless and then ceramic coated. another add on cost some dont understand.

not trying to undermine your works here, but to be fair those exhausts actually have all the components that typically make up the exhaust...
like... MUFFLER, and midpipe (cant tell if thats midpipe or all together is just an axleback.)

I am not saying its not worth that price or costs that much to build... but its two fucking peices of pipe that merge into one. So comparing to a REAL exhaust that has bits that actually cause the construction price to go up, is just stupid. That being said, get it uncoated and plain tips, and knock off about 299 bucks... I'd buy it in a heart beat.

amen to that... I think that seems to be the trend... its a nice piece but nice enough to compete with REAL exhausts? in the same price range... no... knock some money off.

To knock some more off they could come uncoated. I love the sound it makes I just cant justify its current price. That is why I am hoping for a group buy.

Sounds amazing, looks great and the low-end gains are fantastic. When you say the ceramic is an "add on cost some don't understand" do you simply mean how it affects the price? I understand how it does that as coating is pricey, I'm just unsure of how it affects performance in this application. I'd love uncoated to be an option in the future. Thanks guys.

The coating is part of the final production piece to give it that BMW quality finish. Raw stainless would not look good and the cost of polishing is much more. This coating turns out quite well.
