first trip to dealers scheduled

Im taking my car in to the dealer friday morning 9 am, the ac fan is erratic it turns off and on by itself. I can have it blasting and it will cut off for a sec. And an annoying sound of a loud fan can be heard in the cabin with the car on and ac off and radio off. I requested a loaner and i hope they can get it fixed. Really a shame because the car only has 1k miles and is only a week in a half old.

took it in today they ran out of loaners but they were kind enough to bring me home as i have another car.

Hope they find out the issue and fix it fast. I just got my car back from service (400miles only), nothing was wrong I was there to install the factory alarm. Install + programing $282 (got the alarm from Dan@united <-- great price). The only bad thing I see so far is a paint defect looks like a tinny grain of sand was in the paint. Its on the lower part of the drivers door and its very hard to spot. The Paint specialist from BMW wasn't there to give me a solution

. But I was able to get a 08 328i sedan to drive for 2 days

. But I did schedule for the appointment and request for a loaner.

called again the odd sound i was hearing at idle is apparently a combination of the i drive hard drive and cooling fan along with the turbo valves....Or so they told me what ever as long as they said there is nothing wrong i can deal with the noise. As for the air con they said it is the automatic ac trying to regulate temperature so i guess ill also have to learn to live with that. But tomorrow morning when i go in to pick it up i will request a drive with my service adviser and see if i can replicate the problem with the ac and see what he tells me cause of course they could not replicate it.
