I didn't get a chance to weigh the stock vs. the new one but going from stock to single sided, you can expect about 15lbs savings.

John I am on my cellphone right now. If you talk to Nick he will know who me and Dan are. I think I am the only other 1er with Vorsteiner V302's and want to add this hood A.S.A.P.
BTW I picked up start/stop switch yesterday. BAT Signal here I come!!!

Unfortunately, another customer (order 19650, if you're reading this) was slated before you. Although he did order a few days after you for the pre-order, the rest of his payment came through a day or 2 earlier, so his hood was submitted to Vorsteiner just a day earlier.

This means that his hood will be shipping tomorrow (Wednesday), whereas yours should be ready on Thursday or Friday.

Very sorry for the delay!
