Will do! I know a few users that have it and speak pretty highly of the unit so I'm hoping I'm happy with it.

The photographer at the autocross I went to over the weekend uploaded some cool action shots so I figured I'd share! Unfortunately I was the only car in my class for this event but I had a blast as always!

It's an Xtrons PA7781BP unit and comes with new panels for the climate control stuff. I just have to figure out where I'm putting my convertible top buttons

For sure! I'll probably make a thread on the install and what I do for relocation. I was thinking of getting rid of the smoking package for the OEM cubby and modifying that to fit the seat and top controls. We'll see.

Did you get this intense with customization of your Jetta? If so, what did you do to the interior?

Much more so actually. Just all around it was significantly more modified. There were a couple 'world firsts' that I was pretty proud of. There are still (to my knowledge) only two mk6 Jettas in the world with a "Jetta R" center exhaust rear end.

For the interior of the Jetta, the biggest thing was having new leather made up for seats, boots, doors, and armrests. This was done in a peanut butter color with cream stitching. Installed it all myself painfully with lots of cursing and beers. The rest of the interior also got an Android unit, some custom trim and a super heavy shift knob which I miss.

I'm just getting started with the 1

Installed some E9x spec CX Racing coilovers on my 128i the other day, install was a pain but finally got them in, will update later. As of future plans, looking into some OEM style wheels

I still intend for the cubby to be functional for storage, just will also use that to mount the seat and top controls. I have a couple ideas in my head so we'll see which one pans out

Seeing the quality work you did on the Jetta I am excited to see the build from the "ground floor"

I to my knowledge was the first to do a center painted votex on a mk4. It was my buddies idea actually.

Looks good! Just needs some spacers or wheels with better offsets

It's like my car from when I first got it

Haha, looking into some e9x spec OEM wheels so if anyone has recommendations lmk! Maybe some style 195s? (Yes I understand the offset will be aggressive but that's what I'm looking for)

The look is completely subjective. To me, most OE BMW wheels are meh.

The 195s - I can't imagine cleaning 14 spoke wheels! My 262s are 5-spoke and I am sick of them by the time I finish cleaning them. Anyone know the offset on Gen 1 Viper wheels?

I personally like the look of more spokes but that might just be the 17 year old hot boi in me and as of aftermarket, I don't have that much money as of right now for some nice VMR wheels

Don't get me wrong, more spokes looks great. I just wouldn't want to clean the ones you mentioned.

The Gen 1 Viper wheels were a joke... they are 3-spoke and would be easy to clean. Horrendously ugly though, very likely the ugliest wheels I've ever seen on a car.

Man I do want a set of 264s but nobody in the San Diego area wants to sell them for a reasonable price, let alone sell them
