BMS dual cone intake... Tubes are small??!!!

Well I finally got to install my bms dci, and OMG the takes tube dont fit well at all?!

They are at least 1/4inch too small in diameter to both fit well in the filter and the intake tube?!?!

ANyone else with the same problem?

I have them and they fit perfect for me. This is strange. better call terry or who ever you bought them from and talk to them about this.

Yea that definitely doesn't sound right. Should be a very snug fit.

Did you buy it used? Can you post a pic of the tube in the filter. I know it can be a little snug on the stock intake piping but should be very easy to fit into the filters.

ok I finally checked... The tubes I have have exactly 2 1/4 inch EXTERIOR in diameter...

Anyone else has input?

Weird I will have to measure mine. My DCI's fit snug in the factory hoses. I would be interested to see some pictures of yours.

2.25" sounds right. It should be a snug fit in filter and accordion piping. If not maybe you got the wrong size filters?
