You win again, FDR
Hit a monsterous pothole on the northbound FDR @ about 9:20pm today. Right lane, right under the Rockerfeller University. Put a huge bend on the inside lip of my 17" Motegi MR118, but my tire was still holding air. Made it to the 96th street exit and go a tow truck to the dealer. Guess I'm switching to my summer tires a few weeks earlier then I planned.

lmao yea, you just wanted to borrow my 261m's.
I think I'll be taking the beater into the city for a couple of weeks till the DOT has time to patch a few of these monster potholes

That's why I drive on the westside highway. I gave up on the FDR years ago....I feel your pain, I have a bent rear rim on my roadster right now (possibly cracked).

Will you replace the wheel or try to fix it?
I think you'll be OK going to summers now.

I'm going to try to drive as little as possible over the next couple of weeks till the weather really warms up, but I think as long as the temps are ~50 I'll be fine. Driving home from the dealership last night on the stock rft's in 35-40 degree temps and rain was not fun.

Feel your pain...even in my SUV i've hit some of those potholes but not to the extent was the impact so horrendous I had to check my tires or did I lose air...lucky so far I guess.
