1M ED Pickup Today!
It's 6:00 am here in Munich Germany.
I pickup my car at 3:40 pm to 5:10 pm today. I will post a photo or two later today. After a very long wait I get to meet up with my Germany Mistress! I have never seen a new car with Zero Miles on it until today. Even the Delivery Specialist had not seen this before.

Enjoy... Be sure to be outside on the balcony when they pull her out of the elevator.. The sound of the exhaust, inside the building is awesome.. Three weeks ago I took delivery of mine, and it was louder (and sounded better) than all of the other cars being delivered. (Even the X5M sounded "Tame" in comparison...)
Get to the Welt early and enjoy lunch in the lounge then spend the rest of the time in the M3 trainer.. Its funny to watch so many people put the video game into the wall.. Congrats.. |

Congrats on the stunning motor mate...
The mileage (if it's anything like VAG cars) can be reset upto 3 times under 50 miles. So they may of just done that.. |

Congrats Redadair
Seeing you take delivery reminded me I'd seen your username before...thats it http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=464670 you were number 29 to sign in, I was 30. If only that meant I was taking delivery.. Still doesnt make sense to me how it isnt more appropriate to allocate cars based on first come first served confirmed orders. Drive it like you stole it!

So you can pick up a car from BMW with ZERO miles on the clock - and obviously PDI'd at that. So why do 'new' cars often have 5-15 miles up when one takes delivery here in the UK?? Based on the OP's experience, one should reasonably expect to be able to pick a new car up here in the UK with 1 mile or so up as a result of driving on and off a truck only?! From where I'm looking, I'm going to tell my dealer that I'll reject my new 1M if it has more than 1 mile showing!!
EDIT: BTW; many congrats to the OP!! |

Congrats on the new mistress! My 135i had zero miles as well, but barely. By the time I drove out of the Welt, the odo had 1 mile on it.
Enjoy your trip!!
