StopTech, Posi-Quiet, Centric

Are StopTech, Posi-Quiet, and Centric brakes all the same? I find the same part numbers across all three.

I was told centric owned stop tech, I believe centric is one of the largest manufacturers of brake parts. I don't know about posi quiet.

The Posi Quiet and Stoptech trademarks are both owned by Centric.

I just installed Centric slotted rotors on all 4 and they are great so far. True and no vibrations..

Good stuff, thanks for the replies. I kind of figured these were all the same parts, they share applications and part numbers. Our friends at HP A carry StopTech PQs, while I find the same parts from Centric available on Amazon (higher price than HP A).

I need LOW DUST! I'd forgotten how filthy stock brakes from BMW are, eee effing gad (two weeks with this car). I can't find a ceramic, and so it seems PQs are my best option (no track).

Centric Posi Quiet Semi Metallic will be your best as far as low dust. Dave Zeckhausen at Zeckhausen Racing shared this information with me. I use these pads for ny other vehicles. Initial bite is decent. If you want better bite you can try StopTech Street Performance pads. Better bite usually comes with more dust.

I use a small California car duster every few days. I know these brakes are dusty but the work very well.
