Hey folks, Iv not long got my 1M and was wondering where the best place in the UK is to buy tuning ans styling parts? America seems to be the place to be for all the good stuff!

Before the 1M I had a Ford Focus RS mark 2 running 400BHP which was good fun on the Scottish roads but the 1M is a different ball game with the rear wheel drive! Feels every bit as fast as the RS too.

Iv tried to attach a Photo (everyone loves a photo!) Hope it works

Welcome to the club and i see that the car is in the fastest colour, good choice It really depends on what you are looking for, i have just went for the slightly modified look and a few other upgrades which help with the power and there is still a little more to come on that front. Good luck with the car and maybe see you around.

Welcome to the forum

My 1M was remapped by DMS. With a Forge intercooler, N55 midpipes and a DMS tune, it made 431bhp and 485 lb/ft (656nm) torque. I'd highly recommend them as a place to look if you're after more power

Cheers for the welcome Iv got a Milltek exhaust to fit from the downpipes back just not had a chance yet as Iam recovering from a few mountain biking injurys! Does anyone know if the secondary cat bypass puts the management light on?

I do love the splitter but its only 4 inches off the ground so it really annoys the locals when Iam crawling over speed bumps at 5mph!

Welcome to the world of 1M.

No ecu issues with deleting the 2 secondary cats, different story with the downpipe cats though.

Welcome.Do you find the front lip and splitter a real pain or can you live with it? I am contemplating the same lip, but keep putting it off due to clearance issues and general Pain In the A*** .

Not had any issues with it yet, even cleared all the speed bumps so far. Im not sure how it will cope on the B roads around here but time will tell. Certainly couldnt lower the car with it on though!

hi

i went the same way as chris with very similar results DMS tune and forge IC.
a bit of a long journey for you to southampton but the lads who did mine were spot on very knolegeable and friendly very good job,and it really made one hell of a differance you have to learn how to get the best out of it but you wont be disappointed,i have since put the super sprint mids on with the resonator delete y piece and that released a few more horses.

which ever way you deside to go you will love the car it always puts a smile on your face when you hit the loud pedal

Cheers for the info about DMS, the car has enough power for me at the moment just wanted a bit more noise to be honest! We all say that at first though dont we KW's could be next on the list before power but your right about one thing, every time I drive it im like
