Given it's a public forum, I won't post all the details, but caught at excessive speed > 50km/h then the limit on a deserted road on the weekend.

The fine/points don't bother me, the 12 months automatic suspended sentence is the killer. Spoke to a couple of barristers today though, should be easily reduced in front of a magistrate given my job. Learnt my lesson though, it's staying on the track...

swarm glad to hear you are okay and the lesson has been learnt.

I took up racing when I had a "close" call with the law and realised I needed a legal release. It just so happened to be more fun on and off track than I expected and made me a better driver on the road too (although more aggressive/confident).

Tai Pan in Doncaster East. Corner of Blackburn Rd and George St. Book way ahead if you want a table! Mostly Azns there so you will be the minority by far. :biggrin:
