Balancing Wheels
If I'm just taking off my winter wheels and tires do I need to have my summer wheels and tires balanced again? A service tech said I should.

It wouldn't be a bad idea, but no you don't have too. They likely haven't changed much from sitting around all winter.

Put them on and if you have a persistent shake on the highway, get em balanced. Otherwise you're good.

As long as you put them on correctly they should be fine.
