About to go place a order for a 128i, quick question about Oyster Boston Leather
I did a quick search for Oyster Boston Leather and couldn't find good pictures of it. Is it more grey or is it more white. I can't tell from the pictures but some pictures make the leather look like a light grey color and other look very white. Can anybody comment or provide better pictures? Thanks!

Here's the best photo of mine. It's really best to find a 1er or a 3er to view in person since it's a hard color to accurately photograph well. It's more white than it is grey, but also has a touch of beige. Think of it has the former Lemon leather but with much of the yellow extracted out to leave a much more subdued color.

One thing I don't like about this combo is that there is too much dark. I like my taupe(which is more greyish) leatherette interior because it is extended on the doors and dash, which I think looks much better. Add the aluminum trim and it's all over the place, just my 2 cents...

Different strokes, different folks... One of the main reasons I went with this combination is because I really like have the most of the door panels in black with the splash of color across the doors. Otherwise, I think it looks awkward to have a whole door panel in a certain color which contrasts with the anthracite headliner.

I also like the taupe leatherette because there's more taupe than black in the car. And since I have a convertible, and the top's down a lot of the time, I don't care what the headliner looks like!

Just picked up my wife's 128 Conv. Space Gray over Oyster. This is the best picture I could find of the interior in the sunlight. It's as close to white as you are going to find. Be prepared to clean it alot. We have only had the car a couple of days and I am already noticing dark spots where my leg hits it.
Pardon the white feet, it's been a long winter. |

It is definitely more white. Just got home from picking my new 1er up and the Oyster looks quite awesome in my humble opinion. I'll try to post some pics tomorrow if I can find time.

Depending on the light conditions, Oyster can look from white-ish to beige-ish. I took these pictures in January in the late afternoon at a dealership.
