Why did you order it if it makes you nervous?

I've seen pics of Montego blue with coral red, and it's not a combo I would order. Never have seen deep sea with red. But if you like blue exterior with red interior, then get what you like.

Wrap anything in bacon and it's instantly better.

I considered that combo. I think the red leather will look good against the blue exterior.
In the end, I ordered the oyster Boston leather since lighter colors in a convertible won't get as hot as darker ones.

I almost ordered LeMans Blue with Coral Red but decided to go with Alpine White at the last minute.
The DSB might not be too bad with the CR as the darker blue may work. In the end it just seemed to flashy/boy racer-ish for me. The CR was a must have for me, so i went with an exterior that went with it. Until you get a VIN you can always change up what you ordered, just remember that. |

Scroll down past the middle of the page, and you'll see what blue exterior looks like with red. It's Montego blue, not deep sea blue, but it will give you some idea. I haven't seen pics of your exact combo on this website, but I could have overlooked them. |

Thanks guys. While I was building my car on the BMW website, I loved the combination of deep sea blue with coral red. But after ordering and yes after getting the VIN, I started reading up here and most everyone seems to be against the "superman" combo. So got nervous
But in all, I think it would look good because the deep sea blue is a pretty neat, dark color. I have seen the colors separately in person - hopefully it would look just amazing! My first BMw so can't wait - production is estimated to be completed by 5/7. Will definitely post pictures as soon as I get the car |

Will see Looking at deep sea blue it seemed that coral red (that I saw in the car next to it) would look good. Plus, you can't really research your taste. You know what you like and sometimes....you think you would like something and to know for sure you've got to give it a try plus it's a 3 year lease so am not really going to be stuck with it.
But anyhow, positive spirit ! I am sure it would look stunning |

My post said that until you get a VIN that you can make changes, then you tell me im wrong then say "You don't get a VIN until production begins at which point changes are not possible". So, like i said. If they give you a VIN, that means you are locked in to what you ordered. Up to the point in which your car has a VIN, you can make changes. |

I reckon DSB with Coral interior will look great, as the DSB is a very dark blue.
Good choice, it's nice to be different. It's why I went with Bluewater with Coral Red.

I love your choice of blue water as well - not sure if it is available in the states but I have seen similar color on a convertible at my dealer. It is called liquid blue or something. Do share some close up pics of your car. I will gladly return the favor once I get my car |
