adaptive headlight warning

Just took my car back from the dealership for the battery recall and got this warning in the evening.

It appears the driver's side isn't leveling properly but the passenger side is. Is there a way to see if the guide is blocked or anything? I've never removed the headlights or modified them in any way.

^ how did you diagnose/deduce it to find out it was the module's issue?

No. We weren't sure if BMW did it because it went on RIGHT after the recall. So they did the diagnostic for free. They washed the hell out of it though, so maybe the water got into it like it has for others in the past.
