Extended Warranty
Mine coming up to 3 years in May. Had letter from BMW about extending warranty. Not sure what to do. Quote looks reasonable you can reduce with £100 and £250 excess. Anyone else thinking about this. My car has only done. 4000 miles.

It seems like the extended warranty in UK is very reasonable.
I went to the dealership in Canada today, and they quoted me 6 years or 200000km for $5899 Cdn!!! Seriously thats only 2 years extra for 6K!!!!!!!!!! |

I would definitely go for it if it was that cheap here.
I checked with my dealer when I bought the car - AUD$7700 for 3 extra years (6 total). |

Wow I would've done it for that price. I tried and he said $7,200.. I laughed.
It's not too late though, I have up until the last day of warranty. Thanks for the heads up. |

I've been quoted £279 pear year including a £250 excess and excluding breakdown cover.
Has anyone thought about or taken up non-BMW warranties in UK? The BMW option seems the best idea given the type and value of replacement parts, but it would be good to hear about others experiences. Incidentally has anyone who tracks had any issues? |

For the UK guys I've just taken the comprehensive extended warranty out with the Emergency Service option. £357 for me with £250 excess at 7k miles.
No brainer for me really, my previous modded Focus RS was as expensive to insure as the standard 1M insurance combined with the extended warranty so it's money I'm used to spending on my hobby. |
