Hood question
Excuse my ignorance but I have a question concerning a vented hood. I'm thinking of purchasing the bm-style seibon hood for my 1-series but worried about the vents. Isn't water going to go in my engine and potentially cause damage? Sorry if this is a silly question lol, I'm just worried when I'm washing the car that a bunch of water will go threw.

It should be fine as long as the engine has cooled.

Correct. If you decide to use a vented hood be careful when driving in the rain and cover the vents while washing your car. I know some people that live in rainy areas will close the vents.

I believe some of the Seibon hoods are fake vents, they are not open.
