Im on H&R sport springs. I just bought coilovers though so im am going to be lowering the back a lot more, and checking the clearences. If anything I may dial in -1-2 degrees of camber.

So has anyone contacted a rep for Advan on a group buy for a 1'er offset? I think we can get enough people to make it worth their while... OR has anyone spoken with Volk for some TE-37 in our offset I would buy either tomorrow, if they would fit with a 9"+ rear tire...

It's like the CSL problem - close, but not perfect. I would be interested in a group buy for either, but I don't know if the makers would be willing to do it.

Do I smell a "Volk group buy interest" thread soon?

I talked to someone about fitment for the advan's and this is the fitment on that car.
Front: 18 - 8.5 +38
Rear: 18 - 9.5 +45

It is a little agressive and may or may not work depending on suspension, tires, amount of camber.

I think if they made them in:

19x8 +45
19x9 +48

it would work perfectly for our cars

A possible reason why the Japanese spec 1er could fit those Advans is because they used an aftermarket setup on the brakes. The aluminum hats on the the rotors don't act as spacers like our OEM rotors; therefore, you could run a more aggressive offset on the wheels.

For about the same price between Advans and Volks...

I will go with the volks only because the rims are Forged and likely stronger then Advans.

Not sure why vendors can't have a 1series setup made?

I spoke to a vendor..they told me to make a special request they need 20 sets. I don't think it'll be hard to get 20 or so ppl to have Volk make a 1 series setup.

I do understand ppl would want different styles, offsets, sizes...

So to make it clear, on a stock suspension, 18x8 or 18x9, which offsets and tires would fit with no rubbing?
