Wow ... I can't believe how some people are blowing this up beyond proportions. Is this why BMW owners get such a bad rep? They're just wheels people. And they look ok. Not terrible, not great, but ok.

i really wouldn't call the BMW 1 series an "Armani suit"... maybe ummm..... a nice Hugo Boss suit :biggrin:

as for the guys rims, its not my cup of tea but hey i didn't buy them. if he likes them then more power to him. but this comes from a guy who put gold rims on a silver car ("blah blah blah", "that looks hideous","it clashes with the color of the car"). i remember when black rims weren't all that "IN", everyone has they're style. i just find it amusing how people find the harshest way to say "i dont like them"

At least they are different, I am getting tired of seeing all these post of people that got rims, and they are all the same CSL's or Breytons. Someone please start making wheels for our cars so we can get some diversity out there. On that note though, they are pretty horrible looking. I do like the CSL's in matte black though and will probably end up getting a set, LOL.

I don't mean to hate.

Peronally, I would sell them and go with something that fits the BMW better.

I love the 18 inch M wheels that came with mine. I can see everyone in their cars checking them out when I pull up at a red light or a stop sign.

However, at the end of the day, it's how you feel. I love my stock rims. If you like them and you are confident about them, it's your car!

Id like to see more Montego 1's with aftermarket wheels, Im trying to get ideas for next spring!!. I do kind of agree with JKAWB...there does seem to be a trend of very similar wheels.
