I am adding a pic of them with the stock headlight bulbs on, and you can see on the molding of the headlight there is a bluish hue from the light.
Can these be used in the side marker lights also? (The one's in the front fenders) |

Hello all, I realize this post is very old but I don't see much talk on the forum about LED city lights. I bought PIAA w5w LED bulbs and they look great but throw the stinking code so I took them out. No bid deal they shall be returned to PIAA but I am bummed that a "high end" bulb manufacturer like PIAA would have LED's that cause errors. The question I have is how does the car know that the bulb non compliant and throw the code? I guess it senses a difference in the load the LED causes versus the incandescent? Thanks for any input.
