Can I install only PE rear muffler on N55?
Car is N55. I hit the stone on road and only "victim" is my rear muffler. So, need to know, can I install just rear muffler from BMW performance exhaust without center section. I know I can but need to know is job plug and play or I need to do some modifications? Thanks!

Take a look at my DIY.
http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=450937 It should give you a pretty good idea of what is involved. If you have some sort of pwer saw, you can probably cut through the pipe in a few minutes. Just remember it is much easier to work on the exhaust and remove it when the rear diffuser has been removed. |

Yes, you should be able to bolt it right up. The only thing is we expect some sound clips when the job is done!

It should bolt up fine to a N55. I think Dan@United has posted some pics and a video on a N55. Plus... many N54's guys first install only the rear muffler - and then a week or so latter put on the Y-pipes from the Perf exhaust kit. Should be a simply bolt up and play deal.
