60 ft time tips and tricks
Hey guys I'm pretty new to this forum, but I am going to the 1/8 mile track tomorrow for the first time in the 135i. I've been to the track about a dozen times with previous car ('95 prelude, w/ Nitrous, ~225fwhp), but this will be the first time with RWD.
Every drag racer knows that the 60ft time can dictate the final time whether it be 1/8 mile or 1/4 mile. My Car: '09 135i w/ 45k miles Dinan S2 software Dinan catback exhaust Therefore I have a few questions to give me an edge tomorrow: - Traction control: On/1 button/Off? - Tire pressure? - Pre-load clutch? - Ideal shifting RPM? Here's a pic too! By evbecks at 2012-03-13

On stock tires I recently got 1.8s 60' times by revving to about 2300 with all nannies off and letting the clutch out progressively rather than dumping it.
