Sirius radio free subscription
When I bought my 135 Sirius had offered a free 1year subscription. I signed up for it and it has been great ever since. I park my car during the winter and forgot about it. Since then the 1year has come up but I still have the stations coming through. I have also not been notified by Sirius if I would like to sign up for a subscription nor have they sent me a bill. Just wondering if this has happened to anyone else here?

First, check to ensure that they are not automatically billing you, they are good for that if you did give them a credit card.
Second, what might be happing is in order for them to shut your service off, a signal is sent to the radio. If your car / radio has been off for some time now, it might have never received the signal. I had a similar situation happen to me and continued to have free, un-billed service for more than a year after the free service 'ended'. They only send the 'cancellation' signal down at various times, so if your car / radio are off during those times, it will never get the signal to shut it off.

i just picked up mine last week and they still have the promotion of one year free....although i'm not a fan of satellite radio due to sub par audio quality in general.
Im a sound guy but by no means an audiophile. |
