Sorry mate, missed your post. The dipping mirror function always goes hand in hand with memory seats.

It's a pretty great thing to have when it's there but you don't miss it all that much without.

I didn't check that but the car I got is running on Falken non RFTs. I'll still have a look before I leave for Melbourne next week. Thanks!
452's? they last a long time, 35,000~ on mine right now.. i'd say at least 50,000 total, maybe 60,000, which impresses me plenty

this is funny, i didn't know there were more than 1-2 other 130i owners on here... how come no one seems to really post anything about them? it's amazingly hard to find.. anything about them, i mean, shit, i can't accurately find what tail light bulbs we run so i can replace them with uprated [LED] ones -_-

I hope you are right, I have a noise coming from the back end that is either the tyres or the diff. Very noticable at 40+ km/h and just plain stupid at 100.

And my bluetooth unit died pretty quick after I bought the car second hand. The previous owner said he never really used it. They want $1400 to replace it which is excessive IMO.

But apart from that they are pretty solid.

Do you have the manual? tells you how to connect it.
I had troubles with it at the beginning too, read the instructions, and got it connected.

I can try help you out if you still can't do it.

Most likely diff. But you just got yourself an excuse to go LSD.

Anyway, I just had LSD installed, my original open diff is just sitting in my garage if you want it.

Yep, 452s... I was going to wait till they wore out to get some new wheels but I don't think I can wait that long
Hate the 207s... had them on the 120i before and I absolutely hated cleaning them.

Another 130i owner here Car has been pretty much trouble-free since I bought it in Feb last year, the only issue being squeaky/creaky door rubbers when going over rough roads or entering driveways. After many attempts, I found the solution to the problem (installing felt tape along the top inside edge of the door). Let me know if it happens on yours and I'll show you how to fix it

Just an fyi, you should be able to get at least close to $500 for the wheels, was easy to get just thrown on ebay

I had stock rft's on them still though

Depending on how long you're going to wait, i'll have some cheap (repairable scuffed sadly) vmr 701's in 8.5/9.5 to offload

I followed the manual on mine, but the bluetooth logo isn't present on the car, same way the changer logo appears when the changer acts up(had to try it as all my cables for the iPhone were stolen from the car!)

Oh that reminds me.. had that squeaking noise in my 120i from a few years back. Cleaned all the rubber seals along the doors and I think that just made it worse Haven't heard it in my new car so far but I'll take you up on the offer if it ever appears

Hmm maybe I should consider selling mine then... but as of now I've put wheels second in line behind a decent set of coils (and other little bits).

Yeah the big thing is that you don't have rft's

If you want better handling more than looks, theres so many things to upgrade for decent prices
