BMW performance suspension and oversize tires

OK, obviously, I am in idiot from the very nature of my questions. But I am hoping you all will help me toward the light.

I have replaced the oem runflats on my 2008 135i with Conti Extreme Contacts- 255/35 zr 18 rear, 225/40 zr 18 front. Now I am thinking about getting the BMW Performance Suspension Kit. Do I have a problem with the lowering of the kit plus the oversize tires??

Also thinking about the level one BMW engine kit. I have 22,000 miles on the car, do not track it, drive mostly local/around town, but about once a month make a highway/empty/winding, back roads type of road trip. Also drive aggressively, and I am wanting the car to seem more planted and connected (the "corners on rails" kind of feeling), but I don't want to get into alot of aftermarket complicated stuff. Please don't flame me with a because I haven't really found a satisfying review of these two kits together. Can I have thoughts about doing this at all, reviews from people who have, or whether I should just leave well enough alone because I am about to go out of warranty??

Thoughts, comments, smart remarks all gratefully appreciated!

BMW PS works fine with 225/255 tires, no rubs for me even with same size Star Specs (square shouldered, run wider than most tires). Once I switched to 235/265, then I got some (mild) rubbing. I don't have the engine kit to comment on it.

For a real "on-rails" feel, you'd need a good coilover setup, but it sounds like you're not interested in that. If you get the BMW PS, I suggest looking at the various M3 components people have adapted to the 1 - sway bars, control arms, subframe bushings, etc. The car feels much better with all of these, and you keep the piece of mind with OEM components.

Thanks! Is the BMW suspension kit worth it by itself?
