Jalopnik car wars: 1M vs TT-RS vs Cayman R

Jalopnik is doing a new 'feature' called car wars to drum up more clicks and comments. The first round was the 1M v TT-RS v Cayman R.

The comments make for interesting reading in equal measure for their insight, ignorance and humor.

They "compared" 3 great cars in 5 paragraphs is this really possible?! What happened to real journalism?

I don't go to these sites for in-depth journalism. They typically get faster updates on things and the comments tend to be worth the price of entry.

I posted the above from my iPhone and felt compelled to add some color to be fair to Jalopnik. While their style and methods may diverge from traditional media, Jalopnik and Autoblog are far more fair minded (if opinionated) than most of the print mags. I never get the sense that I'm just reading a heavily disguised car commercial written by a paid shill when I read something on these sites.

Also, this was not a review of any of the vehicles. More of an opinion poll to let the commenters sound off.

Here is there 'first drive' of the 1M. I'll take that over Pobst's any day.
