They will stay white for about 2 minutes so there's not much point.

Most prefer black when painting wheels.

FWIW - My wifes current car, a Mini S, has white wheels to go with the white roof.

They look pretty good. when clean. Which isnt often, as the brakes kick out a lot of dust.

As much as she likes em, even she admits it was a mistake.

I powdercoated my Lotus Elise wheels yellow. Looked awesome, but was a total bitch to keep clean. If I didn't clean them weekly (which I didn't), the brake dust would etch itself into the paint. Yellow was a big mistake, but white will be even worse.

I've seen them white, it looks amazing! I think you should go for it. As for the cleaning comments, it is what it is.

We've done a lot of white wheels. Matte white and gloss white. They look AWESOME when on a car but like everyone said, very tedious to keep clean. They'll turn a shade darker once you hit your first stop sign / red-light.

I did it a few months ago. Here was my thread. Sorry about the smudge on the left side of the camera.

I did mine pearlescent white without a clear coat and the Z is gloss white with a clear coat. My cousins have a powdercoating shop and did both sets. You guys should offer the pearlescent. We pretty much all agreed it was the better looking set.
