Will these fit?

I'm about to get new tyres (NITTO INVOS) with specs 225/35/18 and 245/40/18. I'm on stock wheels (261M), eibach pro-kit suspension and have got 10mm spacers up front and 15mm rear, guards are also rolled. My main issue tyre profile 40 where stock is 35, will this be a problem? I've read somewhere to keep it as close as possible to standard.

Cheers

That will not work. You can use 225/40/18 and 245/35/18 though

Ended up getting 225/40/18 and 245/40/18.. Hope the 40 on rears won't be anything bad, I've got the guards rolled so hopefully they won't rub.

That's a profile taller than we recommend. You might have rubbing issues, and your speedo will likely be off a bit.

Speedo question. Wouldn't it pretty much just compensate for the fact that the BMW speedo ordinarily reads about 2 MPH high at 60? Seems to be pretty consistently reported here, and my car reads that versus a GPS.
