So many f'ing cars around here though, it's hard to find a safe/secluded place to do it. Gimme' a week.

Suspension is at the top of my list as well, not cheap though, not cheap at all.
Zombie, I finally got a chance for a 4th gear video. Here ya' go:

So, did any of you that purchased the Dinan S2 receive any kind of sticker or anything else other than the invoice from your dealer showing that your car is so equiped, just curious.

Garage List
2012 BMW 135i  [0.00]
Mine was Dinan tuned from dealer, but all I got for proof was the dealer add-on list which included the Dinan suspension, Apex rims, Carbon Fiber package, etc.. I talked to Dinan though and they confirmed all of the add-ons and the tune based on my vin so they should have a record of what if anything has been done on the vehicle.

Congratulations when I had the tune I made the mistake of using octane boost at the track a few times. They will turn your Spark plugs orange and kill performance. Also There is no reason to us any higher octane then 93 with Dinan you must ask Dinan to send the 93 octane file or you will get the 91 they will do it for free if you ask.

Random Update: I noticed that in some of the longer gears (4,5,6th) there's a bit of a waver in power delivery. When I give it full throttle starting from low rpm's (1,500 or so) the power comes on strong but there's little dips along the way. It's really hard to describe clearly, but basically it's 90% normal with a 10% drop in power delivery every .5 seconds. This happens all the way to about 5,000 rpm's. It doesn't happen every time, I've noticed no pattern to prove why it does happen when it does.

Dinan's Explanation: I called Dinan, they're aware of the issue. I can't clearly describe the cause of the issue (that they gave me) in detail as I only really heard half of what the guy explained (was multitasking mid-call, heh). In the end, it has something to do with the specific software version my 1'er has for the fuel pump. This doesn't mean it's a rare issue, it just means only certain year 1'ers have this software version. (reminder: mine's a 2010, E82, N54). They made no mention of this relating to the HPFP issue at all, I've never had issues with mine btw.

In the end, it's not a major problem and I only notice the inconsistent power delivery about 10% of the time I mash the gas pedal. That being said, I do expect nothing but the best of a company like Dinan.

Pending Resolution: Dinan explained they plan to have a software update available in the next couple months that will eliminate the issue. I'll post another update once I've had that update installed.

I had the same problem, but it felt like it was more timing related. IE - timing pull.

I started throwing a gallon of E85 in on each fill up and it went away.

sorry to bump but do you need the dinan intercooler, intake and new oil cooler for stage 2 on a n54? I called my dealership and they said they cannot flash it without the car having these parts on it. I was under the impression that for stage 2 you do not need those parts.

No - an otherwise stock car can be flashed to Dinan S2.

Welcome to the family!
Get the BMW PE to go with it if you don't already have an exhaust.

if you have n54 I think Remus is the only one to make a quad exhaust (similar if not the same as 1m exhaust)

Otherwise you would need a custom one made along with a new rear diffuser
