You can check PPSR for $4 whereas before it was free with REVS lol

But in saying that, I've used the above website twice with no issues.

At REVS its $9.90 now, but then redirect to the one above and asks the $34.
I'd prefer to pay the least possible.

http://www.ppsr.gov.au/Pages/ppsr.aspx

I'm not too sure what the differences are.. when PPSR was first introduced it was $4.40 or thereabouts. I guess they could have jacked it up to be on par with REVS

edit: have a read of this - http://www.fairtrading.nsw.gov.au/Ab...ter_today.html

revscheck.com.au is privately owned (revs.gov.au was the old site BTW)

Ppsr will only show security interests registered to that vehicle (ie if its got finance on it). Doesn't show car history etc. If you go to the website it shows that it's cheaper than getting the searches separately.

I did the more expensive one, it showed me many things, from finance, insurance, any claims, written off, accident, stolen, and many other things. Now i know the car has no problem, and i will go forward with the purchase.

I've only driven about 16km on it.
But over all, suspension does seem stiff like the 130i on corners, but much softer on road unevenness.

The steering wheel feel sharp and responsive and seat position is really good and you can go lower compared to the 130i, so it feels like it's got a nice big hood.

The gear shift knob area is much higher, so gives the driver the impression that you are a part of with the car (if that makes sense).

Gear shifts are much quicker from time of press and engage.

Engine torque feels smooth and powerful since low rpm.
Engine sound is a little Dissapointing, the 130i had a much nicer note.
Interior, it's a decade ahead!

All nice design with cool curves, newer technology, dash is much nicer. Feels very comfortable to the eye and the touch.
New door handle from inside feels nice and looks cool with it's twist.

Mirrors are a little bit bigger, but work fine, and doesn't have the concave at the very end.

Seats feel comfortable like the 130i

Hope this helps for now. Hopefully I drive a little more today and get more written her for you
